At McCabe, we believe our family relationships are a cornerstone of our Christian faith. Our families have many faces: traditional, blended, single, or extended. We also have our church family which is lived out in small groups, like: coffee groups, youth groups, AWANA, Celebrate Recovery, and study groups; and in large group events like worship and special gatherings.
We challenge all our families to participate in the daily "Family Link" by taking 15 minutes to join in the Faith Five. Daily scriptures are found in the monthly newsletter or weekly bulletin. If you're single you can ask a friend to participate. Talk with each other face-to-face, on the phone, text, or use face time.
Families are the heart of McCabe UMC. Click here to view our Family Ministries Guidebook which outlines our vision, values, beliefs, and program opportunities. Please note this guidebook is meant to be printed and folded in half to create the booklet for easy reading.
Coming to worship this weekend with elementary school age children? Be sure to pick up SERMON NOTES FOR KIDS - a new way to engage and involve young people during worship services that will also lead to family conversations about the worship service. SERMON NOTES FOR KIDS is a one page worksheet that can be found outside the Sanctuary or by clicking here.
